There’s no denying the fact that 2020 was a roller coaster ride we could’ve all done without. The forced lockdowns, the social distancing, and the constant uncertainties posed by the global pandemic, tested everyone’s patience. While the number of cases suggest that the pandemic is likely to continue to affect our lives over the coming months, there’s no need to throw in the towel. If you are thinking of getting out of the house – be it for holidays, business, a staycation or just a temporary place to stay, we are here to put your fears to rest. At haus & haus Holiday Rental we have come up with Covid-19 guidelines to ensure a safe but still enjoyable stay for you.

Steps taken in preparation for guest arrival – What to expect from each holiday home

We make sure all our holiday properties have been cleaned and sanitised as per the latest Government Health & Safety Regulations. This includes the full sanitation of all rooms, along with bed linen, sheets, pillows, etc. being replaced. All contact surfaces are sanitised, including balcony/garden furniture. You can rest assured that the cleaning team wears proper personal protective equipment (PPE) including facemasks and gloves.

Proper health and safety protocols are followed by our staff

At haus & haus, and in light of the pandemic, all our staff wear face masks and observe social distancing of 3 metres at all times, as well as following all health guidelines issued by the relevant authorities. Furthermore, half our team has already been vaccinated, with the rest expected to receive their vaccination by the end of February.

What happens if Government restrictions prevent you from travelling/ leaving your home – Trip cancellation

We understand the flexible nature of travel and bookings in this Covid-19 induced situation, and are doing our utmost to accommodate our guests. Considering the transitional nature of travel guidelines, we offer maximum flexibility in our cancellation policy with the option of a full refund, in case of travel/moving plans being cancelled due to Government restrictions.
